Sift is an online marketplace where you buy and sell new or old fashion for women. Based on the competitive research, I have strategized that there are plenty of buyers online, but not enough sellers. Moving forward I wanted to appeal to sellers and excite them to sell on Sift. The target audience are women, ages 18-40, who are self-expressive, practical, and entrepreneurial.
The inspiration for the logotype is based on a single thread that establishes a personable connection between buyers and sellers. The visual language communicates friendliness, femininity, and personal expression. By hand lettering the typography, it takes on a fresh new perspective on secondhand clothing by allowing sellers to write their own personal thank you notes to the receiver. With this exchange it allows people to feel like it’s a personal gift. The logotype is inspired by a thread that is woven in every piece of clothing and the connection that intertwines both buyers and sellers.

Starter Pack Mailers
Starter pack mailers are sent out to promote more people to sell their clothing, Each mailer includes a brief introduction on how to sell, next steps after the first sale, and three thank you notes.
Personalized Thank You's
By allowing sellers to write their own personal thank you notes to the receiver, this exchange allows people to feel like it's a personal gift.
Pop-Up Store
Instagram Wall
In conjunction to expanding the brand through a pop-up store, the brand's identity is extended to an Instagrammable wall. Shoppers can share their newly Sifted clothes by posing against the wall and posting it onto their social media.
